When Someone Dies Suddenly

When someone dies unexpectedly, the Coroner in England, is automatically involved.

If the person has not been under a doctor’s care on a regular basis, the emergency doctor, or any police officer involved, will inform the relevant Coroner’s office.

The person will be collected by the coroner’s representative and will usually be taken to a main hospital. From there, they can later be conveyed into our care. Currently, Arthur W Bryant Funeral Service are the funeral directors entrusted to carry out the collecting of loved ones in the Bude, Camelford and Launceston area when a sudden death occurs.

Please contact us as soon as possible so we can advise you on the procedures involved and liaise with the appropriate Coroners office if you need to know more.

Looking after you is always our main priority

We’ll be there to support you before, during and after the funeral. We provide a 24-hour service, 365 days of the year.
