Visiting your loved one
The decision of whether or not anyone is to visit the person who has passed away is a personal one.
Many people take great comfort from seeing their loved one at peace in one of our Chapels of Rest. Others prefer to remember them as they were in happier times.
We will prepare your loved one for viewing by dressing them in a quality gown or in a set of their own clothes.
Our Chapels of Rest provide a comfortable and peaceful setting for your visit. You can be assured of total privacy to say your goodbyes and can take as much time as you need for your visit.
It is becoming increasingly common for families to place personal objects in the coffin, such as photographs or other small items that have a special meaning for the person. Please ask your funeral director for advice on this.
